I was at the show a week after 9/11 in Colorado. The first show of The Pledge Allegiance Tour with Slipknot and the power of this show with the collective of people, the music, and the idea we were all there despite the fear we were supposed to have at that time to be in this massive of a gathering. It was the very most unique time to see a show and the idea it was healing and creating a collective rebuilding of who we are as people and doing cool, amazing, free feeling activities with the threat of violence, it is an unexplainable aura. It wasnt just a show to have fun at to celebrate music but something everyone needed to do to celebrate ourselves.
